I don't believe in luck. This is mainly because the only "luck" I have is BAD. Or, maybe I'm just bad at everything I do. I can't really decide, so I like to say that I have no luck. Maybe I'm just a complainer. Or maybe today was a sign that I am too materialistic. I have a hard time believing that I may be flawed in ways I do not wish to be flawed. For instance, today I had to accept the fact that I am, in fact, a horrible driver. In less than one year I have wrecked my brand new car three times. The first offense was in September of 2005. I ran off the road and slammed into a pole. The second offense was in April 2006. I was driving home late at night and I hit a possum. In both accidents, I did some nice damage to the front end of my car. Today, I ran over a tire. It was horrible. I destroyed my front bumper. It's currently being held in place by duct tape. I am so ashamed and embarrased. You don't pay $20,000 for something and then have to hold it together with duct tape. So, that's my story today. I have no luck, because I am a bad driver. Or maybe road hazards are magnets for my car? You know, those things that are NOT covered under warranty. Thank you for your time. I know this is not art related in any way, but it's important to me. This emotional stress has inspired me to paint some more.
